| [Day Two - A Picture That Makes You Laugh] |
Just looking at this picture makes me smile and chuckle with laughter! This day was SO much fun, and it is truly captured in this photo for me. My entire life I have lived on Maui and this was my FIRST time to the
Lavender Farm up in Kula. I spent the entire day with my boyfriend and one of my best friends. Roaming the grounds is free, and we took our time up there, enjoying the thin cool air, taking in the beauty and snapping tons of photos, capturing some very special moments in time. At some point we were literally walking in the clouds.. the Mountains were so green, and all the foliage was super healthy looking and very well maintained.
We took a break and checked out their gallery and gift shop--grabbed a few lavender scones (amazing), some lavender chocolate bars, and sat outside having our breaths taken away by the gorgeous view of South Maui. Lucky we live Hawai'i Nei...

This was simply an unforgettable day filled smiles, laughing, and God's Natural Beauty all around us.. We were blessed with raw Hawaiian Nature, Clouds, and even rainbows. If you find yourself on Maui, definitely make time to visit the
Lavender Farm in Kula.
This same day we actually found ourselves at the
Surfing Goat Dairy Farm, which is not too far from the Kula Lavender Farm... if this picture doesn't make you laugh, than you're just an unhappy person! ;)

We went in January with the fam... did you know the lavender farm has a "scavenger hunt" for the kids? All around the property there are stations with stamps, and once you collect all the stamps, you get a prize =)
We noticed the stamp stations & were wondering what we were missing..didn't figure it out until we took a break for some snacks. I'm thinking of going back up with the Godchildren--that seems like SO much fun! OooOooh, and I wonder what the prizes are! Did you guys do it and win a prize?
