Yesterday I hit up Starbucks for some long overdue shopping...

Since I moved back I've been meaning to snatch these awesome must have Hawai'i Edition Starbucks mugs and traveler, and I also picked up this lil number...

Starbucks is an initiative supporter of the Opportunity Finance Network (OFN) in efforts to spread the awareness regarding how important it is to create jobs here in the USA. According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics 91% of the US Labor Force are unemployed. As a small business owner, I'm as good as unemployed and found my impulse purchase/donation a justified action toward a greater cause. 100% of the proceeds will create and sustain small business jobs.

The wristband itself was made here on US soil--the red, white and blue cord is manufactured in Rhode Island, and the brass crimps come from Florida. The zinc alloy bead is made in a woman-owned manufacturing plant in Los Angeles where the wristband is also being assembled... It's a hearty addition to my jewelry collection, which I'm proud to own--and more importantly wear.

Go to Starbucks. Get yourself a wristband.

My mouth dropped b/c I thought you bought that gold heirloom at Starbucks!

I love the mug and the travel cup! :) I bought one of those a month or so ago and then stupidly left it in the UK and it somehow it got lost in the post winging it's way back to me! Along with a box full of other stuff! :/ Hate it when that happens!! May have to re purchase it! It made healthy smoothies so much more fun! :)
