Delicious Secrets - Thank you Giada!
I have to share something with you all.
This time of year... every year... with out fail... I have this huge craving to cook!
I'm completely inspired by Giada de Laurentiis and love spot-lighting my favorite recipes from her. Most, if not all of her recipes are do-able regardless of your lifestyle, and my family literally trips out [insert jaws-dropped image here] when I bust out these super simple and DELICIOUS recipes.

I blame Giada, and I blame the season. Does anyone else get inspired to cook this time of year? I enjoy cooking all year; but I especially enjoy it now.
Frittata, with Asparagus, Tomato, & Fontina |
While most of you will be PR'ing in Races today, I may quite possibly cook and eat all day.
Example?
I am already thinking about dinner...
Whole-Wheat Spaghetti with Lemon Basil and Salmon |
Without her, I wouldn't have the reputation I've earned in the kitchen the last 5+ years. Because of Giada I have been able to host countless large parties consisting of at least a 3-course meal, not to mention Thanksgivings!
If you are new to the kitchen, or simply want to spruce up your recipes -- get to know Giada! She is awesome on so many levels, and you'll fall in love with her palate. Every weekend I will be posting my favorite recipes; get excited!
Do you have a favorite chef?
Are you familiar with Giada's recipes?
How jealous of my Saturday are you? Kidding;)

6 love notes:
I love Giada! I have a few of her cookbooks and a gazillion recipes I've downloaded from the Food Network. Her recipes are no-fail and awesome!!! Her show is also a constant on my DVR :)
Love Giada too! I used to have a little girl crush on Rachael Ray but in the past few years her peppiness is getting to be a BIT too much for me. If I come to visit will you make me Bellinis?
Giada's definitely my favorite!! And yes, I love love love Bellinis! If I only I could get them to taste the way they did on a roof top overlooking Rome, Italy. Great post!! :)
i am too jealous of your saturday, i had to work all day, booooo!
I wish that I enjoyed cooking as much as you!! I haven't ever tried a recipe from Giada, but everything that you posted about looks amazing!
She is such a fun, burst of energy in the kitchen! Love watching her show:-) xoxo
